How it Works:
- View course offering on Mid-South Color Labs website
- Select course and register online for a time that best suits you
- At prearranged time, you receive an email with link and instructions
- Click link and you will see presenter’s live computer screen
- Dial a long distance phone number to participate in audio portion
- View presentation on your computer monitor in real time
- Listen to presentation and participate by asking questions or making comments
Equipment Needed:
- PC (Mac’s are not compatible)
- Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME, XP
- Computer recommendation: minimum of Pentium 300 with 64 MB of RAM
- Broadband Internet connection
- Telephone near your computer, preferably away from all background noise (ringing phones, conversations) and with a mute button
- Java-enabled Internet Explorer 5.0 or later, Netscape Navigator 6.0 or later (and Netscape Navigator 4.75 for Windows 95) or Mozilla Firefox 1.0 or later
Costs:
- Regular long distance charges from your phone company
- No extra charges for phone or computer time
- Possible minimal charge for Outside Experts or Peer-to-Peer with revenues going to presenter
